About me
Jillian Linnehan-Reed is the Teacher Specialist for the English Language Learners program overseen by the Language Programs Department. She was previously an English Language Learner Teacher who co-authored an elementary-level thematic curriculum which has been adopted division-wide. With extensive experience in professional development, Jillian has provided training on best practices for educating English learners to general education teachers and administrators. Her previous roles include Instructional Coach at Clark County School District in Las Vegas, specializing in Eureka Math and ELL strategies, and Director of Assessment and School Improvement Initiatives for Evergreen Charter School, a bilingual K-12 school in New York. Jillian holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Leadership and has a strong background in mentoring and instructional coaching.
