Exclusive Sneak Peek - K/1 Signature Experience

Join us for this session designed specifically for kindergarten and first-grade teachers.  Participants will receive a preview and engage in hands-on activities to gain a better understanding of the K/1 signature experiences.  Come learn about Growing through KinderGARDEN designed to help kindergarten students develop self-awareness and self-management as they grow, learn, and showcase their development throughout the year.  Discover the How-To-Fair experience designed to help first-grade students develop self-awareness and social awareness.  They will discover their strengths and explore opportunities to learn how to make something based on interactive opportunities.  K/1 teachers won't want to miss this fun-filled session!

Creating Psychologically Safe Classrooms

In this interactive workshop, participants will explore how to create a psychologically safe classroom environment that promotes student growth, emotional well-being, and academic success. We will examine strategies for grading based on mastery, how to foster and increase students' SEL skills while decreasing teacher stress.  We will also explore the importance of building a community of accountability, where both students and teachers take ownership of their learning and well-being.   Participants will walk away with an action plan and tools to ensure students achieve and teachers thrive.
