With a passion for fostering student growth and creating positive learning environments, Sha’Ron, is a dedicated Restorative Practices Coordinator with over ten years of experience spanning elementary, middle, high school, and higher education. She specializes in social-emotional learning, restorative practices, and proactive behavioral interventions that empower students and educators alike.
In her current role, Sha’Ron plays a pivotal role in transforming traditional disciplinary models into restorative opportunities, ensuring students receive support rather than punishment. By incorporating social-emotional skill training, collaborative intervention planning, and targeted support strategies, she helps students develop self-awareness, accountability, and resilience.
Beyond her work in schools, she has served as a Clinical Intervention Specialist, Behavioral Counselor, and College Career Advisor, advocating for student success in both academic and personal development. Her expertise in building trusting relationships, implementing data-driven interventions, and mentoring staff has positioned her as a leader in the field of restorative education.
A graduate of Norfolk State University with a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology (Family Studies and Social Work) from Wagner College, Sha’Ron is committed to continuous growth, equity in education, and the integration of innovative strategies that create lasting change in schools and communities.
